A Christmas Surprise is a short annual multidimensional event targeted at supporting individuals in welfare, health and educational needs.
The aim is to deliver tangible and heartwarming gestures that create enduring positive change by embracing a shared responsibility approach, and fostering collaboration between recipients and the organization to ensure sustained self-sufficiency after immediate support is exhausted. More specifically, A Christmas Surprise Program covers:
- Recipients receive welfare packages tailored to their needs to last for a month at least.
- Providing educational supplies/books to children.
- Granting educational scholarships (subject to openings) after a comprehensive assessment.
- Collaborating with those who want to partner with us to make the season more memorable for recipients.
- Ensuring sustainability by taking a small number of people each season in order to sustain each family welfare till they are assessed to stand on their own.
Finally, our successes during this program is through our relentless volunteers who visit all verified families, deliver packages and follow up on receipients where necessary.
