With an aim to cushion the effects of the global Relief project, which was conducted in four phases championed by the Health and Welfare team.
In the first to third phase, through the use of primary and secondary data, we supported 10 families with food supplies, and served breakfast and lunch to over 180 individuals (children and adults) across 3 States (Delta, Lagos, and the FCT) in Nigeria.
In the fourth phase of our project, we delivered welfare and health supplies to Eku Leprosarium in Delta State with over 200 people including children. We also had a goal of providing sustainable opportunities in Education. Awesome & Beautiful collaborated with Arm of Hope, an NGO that has been supporting this community for over 5 years. We added value to the work by collating secondary data on each household, children’s educational status, and medical & physical needs which was subsequently used in the seamless provision of more health, welfare, and educational supplies in the following months.
